MICHELIN Guide Southwest: 19 Arizona Restaurants Honored

Today, the inaugural MICHELIN Guide Southwest was revealed, and 19 restaurants and three individuals were recognized from Arizona.

I have to admit, I was a bit shocked that not a single Arizona restaurant received a MICHELIN Star — and that Tucson wasn’t included at all. The latter hurt more than the first.

However, I think this is only the beginning and creates an opportunity for Arizona to have a presence on one of the largest culinary stages in the world.

I’m grateful for our state and region to receive the spotlight they deserve. This Guide wouldn’t have been possible without the collaborative funding efforts of Visit Arizona, Travel Nevada, Wasatch Culinary Collective (Visit Salt Lake) and New Mexico True.

So with that said, congratulations to the 19 Arizona restaurants honored in the inaugural MICHELIN Guide Southwest!
