How to Have the Perfect Wedding
I can’t believe it has been one month since my wedding! The day came and went so fast but I enjoyed every moment. While I was planning my wedding, people would ask or say:
“Are you stressed?”
“This will be the most stressful time of your life!”
“They always say something goes wrong on your wedding!”
With all of the comments I received that resembled the remarks above, I was curious how stressful planning a wedding on my own could actually be. The answer?
Planning a wedding is not and should not be stressful.
I firmly believe in what many would call a crazy statement but I would say it’s far from crazy. If you’re incredibly stressed about planning your wedding, the reason could be you’re losing sight of the bigger picture. Getting married is a wonderful celebration with your loved ones, but most importantly, getting married is about forever committing to the love of your life!
I enjoyed planning our wedding for this reason. I knew I didn’t need to worry about any unforeseen obstacles because at the end of the day what mattered most was marrying the man I love. With this mentality, you can be at ease on your wedding day and enjoy the process together! Staying positive helped me significantly. Yes I had to make last minute changes two weeks before my wedding but I was determined to find an alternative since when there’s a will, there’s a way.
While I won’t be sharing my wedding posts and tips until I receive all of my photos, I wanted to give a preview of some of the photos Tara Leinen sent us two days after our wedding! I was impressed with the 10 photos she quickly and beautifully edited. In the meantime, I have exciting posts and content coming out, stay tuned!
