Five Reasons Why I Love to #FlyTucson

July 15, 2019

In case you missed the Five Reasons Why I Love to #FlyTucson on my stories, I wanted to take a moment to share those talking points on the blog. For the latest updates on Happily Pink, make sure you’re following me on Instagram!

1. No Hassle!
It is a seamless experience to get to the International Tucson Airport (TUS) and find your terminal gate. If you decide to park your car, there is a nearby garage and open lots that don’t require the use of a shuttle.

2. Short Security Lines
Tucson is one of the rare cities that frequently has short security lines. The longest I have ever waited is 10 min. In most cities, the line will take anywhere from 15-45 min. Regardless of the time, TUS works fast to get everyone to their gate (and with a smile)!

3. Shopping
Ink by Hudson is one of the retailers available at the airport and they have such a large selection of books! I was impressed with the popular fiction and non-fiction. They’re also a great go-to for snacks and travel accessories. If you’re a parent, you will be pleased to know they have a children’s section for books and toys.

4. Gates
I never feel rushed when walking to my gate because I know there will be plenty of seating. Both Concourse A and Concourse B offer a variety of local and national dining options. I typically go for Empire Pizza, Sir Veza’s, El Charro or Bruegger’s.

5. Price & Convenience
Even if I’m unable to get a direct flight from Tucson, I still prefer to fly TUS because it’s cost-effective in the long run. Below are a few of the affordable deals I found the during last 12 months:

  • New York $270
  • Maui $450
  • Tokyo $650

With smart prices, short travel time, clean amenities and friendly staff, you can’t go wrong with when you #FlyTucson!

I agree, even though driving up to phx doesnt take long the convenience of Tucson international is excellent. And they recently opened a military lounge which is great and parking is dirt cheap!

I’m glad you agree! I love that the airport opened military lounge for our service men and women.
